Dear Joel:
Re: FLEX·fence
Thanks for your March 17th letter enclosing the literature for FLEX·fence . As your records will indicate, I ordered two of the FLEX·fence kits in July and shortly thereafter completed installing the awnings for which the kits were purchased.
Certainly I must tell you how well your system solved the task of providing variable shade for our living room (facing south and west) which otherwise was constantly exposed to the discomfort of full sun.
I'm enclosing a couple of photos showing the successful outcome of the project. The application appears somewhat different to any of the examples shown in your brochures and I trust you'll find them of interest.
One of the awnings covers a bow window eight feet wide; this part of the project posed some interesting problems due to the configuration of the window as well as the height at which the awning had to be installed. I did have some misgivings about the horizontal span of eight feet, but to my great relief everything worked out very well indeed. The other awning was quite straightforward with only a five- foot wide flush window to deal with.
…I am very happy with your excellent system and you may be sure I will be using it again in the future. As a matter of fact you may have noticed (in one of the photos) that I have, so far, installed awnings on only one of the three front windows: I will be ordering two more kits very shortly to complete the upgrading.
Sincerely yours,
PL
