The Peel Regional Police, through the Crime Prevention Services Bureau, offer educational seminars to the public on a wide range of topics. Hundreds of presentations were given last year, including Crime Prevention through Environmental Design and Residential Security. These presentations are given to community groups throughout the Region of Peel. In both of these presentations, the topic of "Natural Surveillance" is discussed.
Constable Henri Berube of Crime Prevention Services was recently exposed to your "Flex-Fence System" and subsequently presented some literature on the product to crime prevention staff. We were impressed with the product and would appreciate if you could supply our office with a sample for ongoing demonstration purposes. Constable Berube has discussed this request with John Abers and Mr. Abers suggested that we make the request in writing.
Please keep in mind that we cannot endorse any products. Our role is simply to educate the public and offer new ideas to assist in resolving security problems.
